Coming from a long lineage of winegrowers, Gérard Paignon is a passionate and particularly creative liquor maker.

Over years, he elaborated exceptional aperitifs and liquors recipes based on Cognac and natural ingredients, thanks to an ancestral know-how and his incredible mixology skills.

A preserved land

The House of Lise Baccara, founded in 1988 by Gérard Paignon, is rooted in the Cognac vineyard at Pons in Charente-Maritime. This particular location at the heart of the famous medieval city, just a few meters from the Pilgrims Hospital site listed at the UNESCO world heritage, grants Lise Baccara's products an unique terroir and cachet.

Lise Baccara is regularly rewarded for the originality and the great gustatory quality of its recipes in France and abroad : in the USA we won three honours (in San Francisco, New York, and Miami) for our 20 years old XO Cognac, Lise Baccara's traditional Troussepinète and for our Elixir cocktails.
