Founded in 1988 in Pons and located in the heart of the prestigious French terroir of the Fins Bois, the French Cognac House Lise Baccara is following the lead of three generations of passionate vine growers. Its unique identity is marked by the cognac producer Gérard Paignon, an innovative master liquor maker who boldly combines the Charente’s heritage with his unlimited creativity.
These subtle associations give birth to unique and tasteful cognacs, premium craft spirits, and innovative cocktails, all which were made to charm amateurs of good taste and those in search of original sensorial experiences.

Our cellar in the French department of Vendée
Our cellar in Vendée is located in Saint-Martin-Lars-en-Sainte-Hermine and entirely dedicated to the production of the French aperitif Troussepinète. It stands for the dedication to maintaining authentic local traditions while welcoming modernity. Here, Troussepinète’s ancestral recipe has been enhanced to become one of Lise Baccara’s signature drink, an iconic French aperitif and a true source of pride for the Vendée region.

In the Charente-Maritime cellar, our cognac is refined following the local ancestral method of double distillation: two successive alembic toasting. Thanks to Gérard Paignon, Lise Baccara’s finesse and aromatic elegance is revealed in its eaux-de-vie.
This strong connection to the terroir gives a rare authenticity, a historical heritage, and a distinctive character to each creation.
